STORY
The word teriyaki derives from the word teri which is the glossiness from the sugar in tare which means the traditional way of mixing soy sauce with sake and sugar. The word yaki means broiling or grilling.
INGREDIENTS
soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar, corn starch, water, smoky liquid
TEXTURE
Teriyaki is generally thicker in consistency because of its starch elements in the mix and the sugar when caramelised.
FLAVOUR
Our teriyaki is infused with truffle oil. Due to the nature of truffle, its aroma is quite bold. Sweet and savoury are two characteristic flavours of this product. It is great with beef products, chicken products, pan fried white fish, pan fried salmon and crispy tofu.
