Palate cleanser made from ginger, sugar and rice vinegar

It is commonly found in Japanese cuisine especially to accompany sushis. It is called 'gari' in Japanese. Gari is marinated in sugar and vinegar so it is a Japanese version of pickled gherkins to Americans. Some versions are pink generated from beetroot extracts.

It still has the crunch of a fresh ginger.

FLAVOUR

This product is a great palate cleanser for rich flavoured dishes. It is strong, punchy but refreshing so no need to put a great deal on a dish. Best to serve with bbq pork poppers, teriyaki wings, poke bowl. Truffle teriyaki sauce will also go well with this product.

Due to its bright pink colour, they are wonderful finisher as garnish.
